The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a good rest each night. I loved the easy access to laundry facilities available in the hotel, along with the perk of checking laundry times on the room TV. The on-site spa facilities, particularly the onsen, were fantastic for relaxation. Although the hotel is close to a JR station, reaching central attractions in Kyoto required some travel time. Breakfast was simple and could be improved, lacking variety. One minor inconvenience was the strict check-in time, which made my arrival a bit challenging. Still, I appreciated the warm hospitality from all the staff, particularly Mai, who was very helpful with my luggage. Would consider staying here again but hope to see improvements in dining options and check-in flexibility.

my stay was highlighted by the fantastic proximity to the aeon mall just across the street, making it super easy to grab a bite or shop before my daily adventures. The peaceful walk of about 30 minutes led me to the beautiful sanjusangendo temple where I enjoyed a quiet moment admiring its stunning architecture.

the location was a bit tricky to find at first, but the free bike hire made exploring kyoto so much fun! ! the on-site laundry facilities were super helpful, and the spacious public bath area was a nice touch.
